Woodcutting involves chopping trees across the realm to gather logs used in Firemaking, Fletching, and Construction. Higher levels unlock faster chop speeds and access to better trees. The Dragon axe and Crystal axe are best-in-slot tools, offering a special attack that boosts Woodcutting by 3 levels.

Training methods
Base XP values match the original. Pantheon applies a 150x multiplier — multiply any base value below by 150 for in-game XP.

| 1-15 | Regular trees | Lumbridge / any town | 25 | Cut normal trees for logs. Fast depletes — move to oaks as soon as possible. |
| 15-30 | Oak trees | Draynor Village / Varrock | 37.5 | Oaks give 37.5 XP and never fully deplete — can be chopped indefinitely. |
| 30-60 | Willow trees | Draynor Village bank | 67.5 | Willows near a bank are great for stockpiling logs for Firemaking. 67.5 XP per log. |
| 60-90 | Teak trees | Ape Atoll / Fossil Island | 85 | Teaks give 85 XP and are the AFK choice at mid-levels. Fossil Island spot lets you drop logs without banking. |
| 90-99 | Redwood trees | Woodcutting Guild, Hosidius | 380 | Requires 90 WC (83 effective with Guild boost). Redwoods give 380 XP per log and are very AFK — they never deplete. |
